Club Team Selector
Committee liaison: Secretary
Should report directly to the Committee via a Report prior to each Committee Meeting
+ be invited to attend on any specific issue that requires Committee approval
I guess there should be a hyper link to state what support there is for team events, i.e.
- Winter YCBA league including home matches
- Summer league
Louise to update/amend/change what has been agreed: This is what Jacqui Farrar sent me:
“Team members pay the normal table money for home matches and the club subsidises the tea provided for the visiting team at the rate of £8 per head.
[b] Away matches
The club subsidises the travel costs of two drivers per team to the extent of 45p per mile petrol allowance, based on the mileage there and back from ilkley to the away venue.
{ Note : I think there is/ was a special informal arrangement for Geoff ? No one asked me anything about it and I don't know if Geoff claimed anything last season? } Should we say that consideration will be given to treat separately a team member who travels from a home a long distance away from ilkley ? { Subjective, but what to do ? }. YES THERE IS but should it be documented?!
2. Summer and Winter online YCBA leagues
The club pays the entry fees of any team of four wishing to enter the above.
I think the entry fee has been £16 per team and we have had only 1/2/3 teams entering at any one time.
Page 8 of current Handbook I’ve made LOADS of changes to this – to be discussed with whoever takes over from Bernard
